Dr Mohammad Mohsin an YOUNG SCIENTIST awardee by the Ministry of AYUSH, Goverment of India , is the First PhD holder in Unani system of Medicine. He has completed his Bachelor & Masters from AMU, Aligarh and awarded University Medal for securing highest marks in MD (Moalejat) in 2004. He has supplicated Ph.D in 2018, in the field of Unani Medicine, particularly in the field of Amraze Jild (Dermatology). He was appointed as Asstt. Professor in the Department of Amraze Jild wa Zohrawia and actively engaged in academic, clinical and research as well as administrative assignments to date with entire satisfaction to the department, faculty and University. he has 78  national and international research papers and articles on the subject published in reputed journals. He has authored three important books on the field and one Chapter on Introductory AYUSH Course for MBBS students, Published by AIIMS Rishikesh. He is also an eminent expert and Visiting Faculty in repeuted  Medical Colleges including AIIMS Rishikesh, JN Medical College, AMU Aligarh. He is member of several learned Scientific bodies like wise Project Screening Committee (PSC) of Extra Mural Research Projects of  Ministry of AYUSH, GOI & UPPSC, PPSC . His area of interest is Auto immune and chronic dermatological disorders. His research work on psoriasis gets applaud by academia. Apart from this he is well known and skilled Dermatologist in the field of Unani Medicine.
