I started my teaching career in July 2000 as a Post Graduate teacher in a renowned residential school in Moradabad. I got selected in AMU City School in September 2002  as TGT (Chemistry) through General Selection Committee. Presently , I am serving the same institution as PGT (Chemistry ) since 10th July , 2019 against the post vacated by Dr. Haseenuddin (retired) . 

            During my 2 years tenure as a Residential staff in Modern Public School  in Moradabad , I had been actively engaged in all kinds of curricular and co- curricular activities like teaching chemistry in classes VI to X and  taking remedial  chemistry classes for boarders of XI and XII in the evening.  I have actively participated in preparing students for debates, elocution,  inter house skits and plays, sports activities and planning excursions, tours and outings.

           During my  18 years tenure in AMU City School , I have been actively serving this institution with full dedication and fulfilling all the duties and assignments given to me to the best of my capabilities. .  Besides teaching G.Sc and Chemistry in classes from VI to XII , I have been upholding various administrative posts like member in Admission committee , B.Ed practise teaching committee member , Evaluator ,moderator and papersetter of SSSC (XII ) and SSC(X). Served as Internal Examiner for practical Examination X and XII AMU Board ,  Member in Scrutinizing committee, School Coordinator of various competitions like SOF,  Silverzone Olympiads,, ANTHE, ETHE etc. , Headmistress of  Tufail and Aftab House , 18 years of class -teachership , Served as Co.Coordinator of CCA and presently promoted as Coordinator of CCA  in AMU City School. During my service in AMU City School ,I also got opportunity to successfully attend 5 workshops and  orientation courses from Academic Staff college ,   AMU and Centre for promotion of Science,AMU. 

       During my academic career , I have stood through out Ist class in all Educational qualifications .Besides that, I have achieved certificate of Merit in B.Sc (Chemistry) ,AMU 1997, SECOND  position in B.Ed , AMU 1998,  THIRD position in M.Sc (Org. Chemistry) ,AMU 2000 , FIRST position in M.Ed ,AMU ,2007. I got the honour to receive  University Medal  by Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam in the convocation held in  2008 . I also  qualified UGC -NET in Education in first attempt i.e. Dec 2006. I have also published a paper in JEC ,Vol 6 , No. 1, June 2015 . titled as "Study of Self Esteem and Educational Aspirations of Visually challenged Undergraduate and Postgraduate  students of AMU. Presently , I am engaged in writing a book on  " Learning Disorder : A major problem in School Children".
