About Mr Mohd. Naeem:-

Mr Mohd. Naeem, the author of his upcoming book Across Spectrum”: - Articles on Social, Political, Religious and Educational Issues and Reflections from My Journey of Life, is a seasoned educator and passionate contributor to the field of English language Learning and Teaching. Born on January 25, 1968, in Najibabad, Uttar Pradesh, he is the son of the late businessman, Mr. Mohd. Mustafa and the late Mrs. Shafiqan. He balances his personal life with a remarkable professional journey that spans over three decades.

Mr. Mohd Naeem’s academic foundation is rooted in the study of English. He earned his B.A. in 1988 from Rohilkhand University Bareilly. He pursued further specialization through a Pre-Master’s course in English and completed his M.A. in English from the prestigious Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) in 1991. His academic pursuit also includes a B.Ed. from AMU in 1992 and a PGCTE from CIEFL (now English and Foreign Languages University (FLU), Hyderabad.

Professionally, Mr Mohd. Naeem has been associated with the RMPS AMU City School as a PGT (English) since 2002. Earlier to that he started his career as PGT (English) in STS School (Minto circle) in 1992 AMU Aligarh. Beyond teaching, he has held various significant responsibilities including Editor of the School Magazine, In-Charge of the school library, B.Ed. teaching, and served as School Pro-Proctor and Computer Lab In-Charge. His administrative contributions extend to being a member of several key committees like Admission, Syllabus, Discipline of the School, and B.Ed. Teaching. He also served as a warden of a hostel in Aftab Hall for two years consecutively.

A committed educator, Mr. Mohd Naeem has also made significant contributions to academic coaching, notably as a coordinator for AMU's Coaching and Guidance Centre, where he prepared students for the National Talent Search Examination (NTSE). His dedication to social and educational upliftment is evident through his active involvement in NGOs such as the Humsafar Educational and Social Welfare Society, where he serves as Vice-President and Founding Member. He has also been the Member of Muslim Social Uplift Society, Sultan Jahan, Shamshad Marked, Aligarh for more than 5 years.

Additionally, he has played a crucial role in representing and supporting the teaching community. Mr. Naeem was elected both as the President and the General Secretary of the AMU School Teachers’ Association and served as Unit Secretary of the Association. His consistent efforts for over a decade have had a lasting and positive impact on the welfare and professional development of the AMU teachers’ fraternity, in addition to that, he has been an RTI Activist since 2005 with numerous success stories to his credit.

Mr. Mohd Naeem has attended and actively participated in more than 24 professional development programs, including refresher courses, orientation programs, seminars, workshops, symposiums, training sessions, and computer application courses in teaching, conducted both within various departments of AMU Aligarh and at other institutions. Among these, a notable highlight is his participation in the International-level Six-Week Trainer Training for Teachers from South Central Asia, jointly organized by the English and Foreign Language University (EFLU), Hyderabad and RELO, US Embassy and one National level-3 weeks Training Programme on Administration of Minority Managed Senior Secondary schools in NEUPA, New Delhi.

He also served for several years as a Micro Access Teacher under the aegis of UGC, HRDC Aligarh, sponsored by the US Embassy, contributing meaningfully to teacher training and cross-cultural learning initiatives. Additionally, he taught English to classes XI and XII under the Self Finance Scheme AMU Aligarh for several years.

His book, Across Spectrum: - Articles on Social, Political, Religious and Educational Issues and Reflections from My Journey of Life which contains about 80 Write-ups, Articles, Essays, reflects his deep insights into the complexities of diverse issues and problems of the society. With clarity and thoughtfulness, he explores subjects that touch every facet of life. Mr. Mohd Naeem has tried his best to encourage readers to reflect, question, and engage critically with the topics presented. The book stands as a compelling contribution that urges readers not just to observe the world around them, but to understand it more deeply and act with awareness and purpose. Through this work, he has successfully combined his academic intellect with a strong sense of social responsibility.
