Dr. Khan Arif Nafees was awarded M.Phil. and Ph.D. degrees from Department of Physics, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh, India in 2005 and 2012 respectively. His area of research is related to Upper Atmospheric Physics having work to find the source of Pc4 magnetic micro-pulsations and also to investigate the different mechanisms of their propagation into deep inside the earth's atmosphere. He published 11 research papers in reputed journals and also presented many research papers in national and international conferences. Currently, he is working as an Assistant professor (Contractual) in the Applied Sciences and Humanities Section, University Polytechnic, Zakir Husain College of Engineering and Technology, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh. Before this he also has served as Guest Faculty in eight academic sessions at same place from 2008 to January 2015 and also in session 2005-2006. He also has worked as Assistant Professor in Department of Applied Physics, Adama Science & Technology University, Ethiopia from October-2017 to July-2022.
