MISSION AND VISION


CHAIRMAN, DEPARTMENT OF CARDIOLOGY, JNMC, AMU, ALIGARH FROM 1ST JANUARY, 2023

·        Pioneer to start Cathlab International Services at J.N.M.C., A.M.U., Aligarh from Nov. 2016.

·        Strides by Dept. of Cardiology in last 3 years under my Chairmanship.

o   Total over 22000 cases of coronary interventions including angioplasties, cath studies, pediatric cardiac cases and device therapies done till date.

o   Annual intervention added per year is over 2500.

o   DM Batch 2 students admitted under DM cardiology course per year through NEET.

o   Expected increase I DM seats from 2 to 5 per year (NMC permission)

·        Regular cath lab workshops and proctorship/extension lecture by renowned cardiologist and teachers (details in CV).

·        Permitted for interventional fellowship (Post DM) by Diplomate National Board.

·        Organized 15th Mid Term UPCSI on 14th Sep. 2015 at Lucknow, with JNMC at 6th Position in the terms of volume of Cath Lab Intervention in UP.

·        Department actively participating in International Projects like Artemis, Athena, V2P, Rover Liberexia ACS, Librexia AF.

·        JNMC Department of Cardiology is a Hub Centre of Referral for hospitals / CMS for 7 districts adjoining like Jawan, Badaun, Kasganj, Bareilly, Noida, Ghaziabad and Bulandshahar (Hriday Setu UP Programme)

·        Plan for Organizing Main UPCSI 2028 and regular activities like Cath Lab Proctorship and Extension Lectures by renowned cardiologist.

·        Strengthen special clinics for pulmonary hypertension, RHD, structural heart disease, post CABG and EPS RFA clinics.

·        To start DM Paediatric Cardiology and Fellowship Courses in near future.

·        Strengthen heart failure programme and regular awareness camp in community levels.

·        Strengthen non-invasive cardio services including faetal echo cardiography, HUTT and Dobutamine Stress Echo along with TMT and Holter.

·        To submit Annual Cathlab Data to NIC Registry

·        Plan to established Advanced Cardiac Centre under HEFA with IVUS/OCT imaging services and additional cathlab to provide comprehensive cardiac services to patients at nominal rate, protocolwise and to as a Referral Cardiac Institute of West Up Zone
