- Dr Safeena Beevi. S. S is currently working as an Associate Professor in College of Nursing, Aligarh Muslim University, JN Medical College, Uttar Pradesh. Out of 22 years of teaching & clinical experience, 19 years of experience were from Prestigious Central Government institutions (SCTIMST, Trivandrum, Kerala & JIPMER Puducherry) in various academic, administrative, co-curricular, extracurricular & cultural activities of students of Bsc (N), MSc (N) & Post Basic Diploma in Nursing. Studied Bsc(N) & Msc (N) from Govt Medical College, College of Nursing, Trivandrum. A gold medalist & first rank holder from the University of Kerala in Msc Nursing and got Dr. Savithri Bhai award for securing highest mark in Paediatric Nursing and also got TNAI gold medal from Kerala State branch. She was an active member of the JIPMER QUALITY COUNCIL (JQC) Accreditation team, Root Cause Analysis team (RCA), JIPMER Human Resource Development team. Prepared SOPs for Apex manual, JIPMER Procedure manual and contributed work towards NABH Accreditation. Question Paper setter & examiner for JIPMER and various universities in Tamilnadu, Puducherry and Uttar Pradesh. She was a member of the selection committee in two central Government institutes and conducted skilled tests for the recruitment of nursing officers in AMU & JIPMER. Appointed as Inspector in Uttar Pradesh State Medical Faculty, Lucknow. Attended, Organized & chaired many International and National conferences. Was a research guide & co-guide for UG & PG students. Published many research papers in international peer-reviewed journals. She was the coordination Team member for Covid-19 home isolation monitoring in JIPMER. Currently, she is the coordinating team member for Staff Development Committee, Research committee, Admission committee, mentorship programme, Nodal officer for IQAC, member of IQC in AMU College of Nursing in addition to the routine academic activities. Published two books "Text Book of Child Health Nursing" & Applied Nutrition and Dietetics for the BSc Nursing program.
- Contributed chapter in SCTIMST Nursing Manual. Contributed chapter for IAPEN INDIA guidelines regarding uses of immunonutrition and probiotics on chronic liver diseases. She has many awards in her credit. The recent award was from IAPEN INDIA Quality Awards in National district level on "Excellence in Nutrition Research" in February 2023.
