Dr. Swaleha completed her Ph.D. from Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), collaborating with the Ohio State University in the USA. She has garnered several fellowships and awards from prestigious institutions like CSIR, UGC, and USIEF. Her current scientific pursuits revolve around nanotechnology, with a specific focus on synthesizing and characterizing nanocomposites, graphene-based nanomaterials, diluted magnetic semiconductors, transition metal chalcogenides, and metal nanocomposites.


Dr. Naseem's research delves into the interdisciplinary realms of nanotechnology, particularly in energy storage, energy conversion, and health applications. Her publications encompass various papers elucidating the optical, electronic, thermal, and magnetic properties of diverse oxides and perovskites. She boasts expertise in multiple materials synthesis methods and analytical techniques such as XRD, XPS, AFM, SEM, TEM, fluorescence, TGA, and BET. Her scholarly contributions amount to approximately 20 research papers in esteemed peer-reviewed international journals including Applied Surface Science, Journal of Luminescence, Ceramics International, Neuropharmacology, Progress in Organic Coatings, and Journal of Electronic Materials etc. Additionally, she has supervised over 15 postgraduate (M.Tech Nanotechnology) students. Dr. Naseem has actively presented her research findings in numerous national and international conferences, including research visits to the United States of America.

She has orchestrated numerous international webinars focusing on various aspects of Nanotechnology, spanning themes such as Health, Nanomedicine, Energy, and Nanocomposites. Additionally, she has spearheaded a National workshop centered on Advanced Characterization Techniques and Applications of Nanomaterials.
