I have worked in Nigeria for about 5 years on a teaching assignment. At present I am working on the bio control of soil borne pathogens of crops like chickpea, lentil, Ashwagandha etc. by using mycoparasites like Trichoderma harzianum, Aspergillus niger. At present I have published 18 research papers on management of fungal plant pathogens of agriculturally important crops. I am also engaged in Research projects funded by different agencies 1. P.I of Major Research Project (2012) funded by UGC entitled "Studies on the biocontrol of Alternaria leaf spot and Fusarium wilt diseases of Withania somnifera (Dunal), with indigenous isolates of Trichoderma harzianum, Trichoderma virens and Aspergillus niger" 2. Co-PI of Major Research Project funded by DST entitled "Effects of Elevated level of CO2 on the sensitivity of Cucurbits to SO2 & susceptibility to Powdery mildews and Root knot nematode"
