Dr. Alia Yusuf received B.Sc. (Honors) Geology and M.Sc. (Applied Geology) AMU, Aligarh in 2007 and 2009 and Ph.D from the AMU, Aligarh in Geology with specialization in Remote Sensing and GIS on research problem entitled “

Geomorphological Studies with special reference to ravenous development in parts of Bhind Morena district of Chambal basin, M.P., using Remote Sensing and GIS Techniques",
Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh, India in 2015.

She worked as Guest Faculty in the Geology Section, Women's College, A.M.U., Aligarh from 2012 till date and was associated with teaching of Remote Sensing in department of Geology along with the teaching on women's college before taking full responsibility of girl students in the college. 

Dr. Yusuf has published 20 papers in peer reviewed national and international repute journals and conferences with 74 citations, h-index-3 and i10index-2. She has attended many national and international conferences and presented research papers in the field of Remote Sensing. Her area of interest is geomorphology and remote sensing.
