DEPARTMENT_STAFF.COMPLETE_CV

At present, I am working as an Assistant Professor (Contractual) of Botany in the Botany Section, Women’s College, AMU since March 2021. I have completed all my academics from Aligarh Muslim University. I have been in TEACHING PROFESSION since I had completed my research in 2011 and taking up all the courses of Botany like Embryology, Cytology, Phycology, Bryology, Mycology, Plant Biotechnology, Genetics and Cell Biology.

My arena of research interest is Plant Biotechnology. My doctoral work is on the Conservation strategies via Plant Tissue Culture methods on two of Medicinal plants. I have published many research papers related with Plant tissue culture studies in the Journals of National and International repute like Acta Physiologiae Plantarum, Applied Biochemistry and Biotechnology, Journal of Plant Physiology and Pathology, Advances in Plants and Agriculture Research, etc.

I have been awarded with Academic Excellence Certificate in my Graduation (2004), with Merit Scholarship in my Master’s (2006) for holding second position in the class and with Best Oral Presentation award in 2011 in a National Seminar on Plant Sciences.
