I work in the area of Neutrino-Physics particularly neutrino interactions with nucleon and nucleus.
Neutrinos are fundamental particles like quarks and photons and electrons—they cannot be broken down to smaller chunks.
It is the second most abundant particle in the universe after photon. The existence of neutrino was theoretically postulated in 1930 by Wolfgang Pauli, to explain the continuous energy spectrum observed in beta decay, and to obey the energy, linear momentum and angular momentum conservation laws.
Neutrinos are mysterious particles that could answer many questions about our universe.
