Dr.Mahjabeen is an Assistant Professor in Geography in Women’s College, A.M.U., Aligarh. She obtains her B.A. (1990), M.A. (1992), B.Ed. (1993) M.Phil. (1996) and Ph.D. (2001) in Geography from Aligarh Muslim University. She specializes in Agricultural Geography and Economic Geography. She has half dozens of Research Papers published in various reputed Journals and Edited Books. She also actively participated in various National/International Conferences / Seminars and attended Workshops. She teaches various courses of Geography i.e., Geomorphology, Climatology, Human Geography, Economic Geography, Geography of India, Cartographic Techniques, Cartography and Surveying, Statistical Techniques, Disaster Management at the Undergraduate level. Currently, Three Research Scholars are pursuing their Ph.D. work under her guidance.
