As yet, I have published 106 research papers and 17 book-chapters (total value of Impact Factor: 316; total citations: 3311). My research work associates with radiation-processed polysaccharides, abiotic stresses, nanoparticles, smoke water and karrikinolide, plant growth regulators and elicitors, and mineral nutrition, in relation to various crops and medicinal plants. My research-results have mostly been published in reputed peer-reviewed international journals, including  Agronomy Journal, Carbohydrate Polymers, Chemosphere, Crop Science, Ecotoxicology and Environmental Safety, Environmental and Experimental Botany, Frontiers in Plant Sciences, Heliyon, Industrial Crops and Products, International Journal of Biological Macromolecules, , International Journal of Botany Studies, International Journal of Herbal Medicine, Journal of Hazardous Materials, Journal of Applied Research on Medicinal and Aromatic Plants, Journal of Essential Oil Research, Journal of Plant Growth Regulation, Journal of Radiation Research and Applied Sciences, Plant growth regulation, Plant Stress, PlosOne, Protoplasma, Photosynthetica, Radiation Physics and Chemistry, Scientia Horticulturae, Silicon, etc. In addition, my research work was presented in 49 national and international conferences. Besides, I have been one of the editors of two edited-books, viz. Mineral Nutrition of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants (2012) (Global Science Books, Japan), and “Fenugreek: Improvement in Yield Potential through Plant Growth Regulators (PGRs) and Depolymerized Polysaccharides (2024)” (Apple Academic Press, USA).  At present, “Manual of Plant Biological Techniques” (2024) (McGraw Hill Education, India) is under process. I have also been the principal-Investigator/Co-Principal Investigator/Co-investigator of 4 research projects of national level. I have also guided 3 MPhil and 5 Ph.D. Students. Apart from these attainments, I have 26 years of teaching experience and 30 years of research experience at International Center for Improvement of Maize and Wheat (CIMMYT, Mexico), Water Technology Center (IARI, New Delhi), Potash Research Institute of India (Gurgaon, Haryana), Jamia Millia Islamia (New Delhi), Zakir Hussain College (Delhi University), and Women’s College (AMU, Aligarh). I have also conducted some work with regard to undergraduate innovative teaching.
