Dr. Nikhat Yasmin Shafeeq did her M.A. (Economics) and then B.Ed., M.Ed., Ph.D. in Education from Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh. She received Gold Medal in M.Ed. and have also qualified UGC-National Eligibility Test. She  joined Women's College, AMU Aligarh in 2006. She is actively involved in teaching undergraduate / post-graduate classes and research,  as well as in various curricular and co-curricular activities at the College, Department and University level. THREE Ph.D. degrees have been awarded and few more students are pursuing their doctoral work under her research supervision. In addition to it, she has guided TWENTY THREE M.Ed. Dissertations. She has published TWENTY SIX research papers in Journals of national and international repute [viz. Indian Educational Review (NCERT), Social Change, (SAGE) Disabilities and Impairment, International Journal of Advancement in Education and Social Sciences, International Journal of Applied Research, Journal of Indian Education (NCERT), Journal of Positive School Psychology (Q2 Journal) etc.].  Her cumulative Impact Factor of research is around 93.84. She has delivered invited talks/chaired sessions and participated in various national and international conferences. Her areas of interest include Teacher Education, Program Evaluation, Educational Psychology, Educational Research, Value Education and Special Education.
