Roomana N. Siddiqui, is Professor of Psychology . She is a social psychologist interested in issues of social relevance. She obtained her doctoral degree in the area of Environmental Psychology from the Center of Advanced study in Psychology, University of Allahabad. She has large numbers of published empirical articles in her favor and has published a book titled Dreams & Destinations: An Illustrated publication of 100 years of women's education. . She has worked with international collaborators on projects of significance. She has organized number of training programs for research scholars and teachers. She is a member of National and International academic bodies and is the South Asia representative of Asian Association of Social Psychology. She was provost of Abdullah Hall from 2016-2017. Her current line of research includes issues related to environment, identity and intergroup relations. She is interested in identifying the shared spaces between diverse groups which has implications for intergroup harmony. Her teaching interests include Applied Social Psychology, Environmental Psychology, Intergroup Relations, Personality, Adjustment and Mental Health and Research methodology.
