Ale Imran is currently working as an Assistant Professor in Entrepreneurship Development, Zakir Husain College of Engg & Technology, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), Aligarh, India since 2015. He has also served in the capacity of  Assistant Professor (Temp) / Guest Faculty in the Department of Electronics Engineering from  2008 to  2015. He received the B.Tech. and M.Tech degrees (both with honors) in Electronics Engineering from Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), Aligarh. 

He has published more than 35 research papers in reputed journals and conference proceedings. His recent paper "An innovative Rooftop Solar PV Index framework based on Design Thinking approach" has earned the prestigious "Best Poster Paper" award at International Confluence Conference on Start-Ups and Innovation, organized by IIT Chennai in December 2023. His current research interests include Renewable energy entrepreneurship, Entrepreneurship education and Simulation study of CNFET based circuits. 

He has introduced two new courses in M.Tech & one new course in B.Tech ; centered around the theme of Start-Ups & Entrepreneurship. He has also coordinated many Lecture Series, Invited Talks & Workshops around Entrepreneurship & Start-Ups.
