Hall Committee List

Hall committee comprises of 18 Post. With the starting of new Academic Session applications are invited for the various posts of the Hall Committee. Final year students can apply for all the posts, while second year students apply for the posts of Joint Monitors/Proctors.

There is a merit based selection of the candidates for the various posts, to ensure fair means of selection. The criteria for selection includes:

Standing of the candidate in the Hall.
Academic performance of the candidates
Different posts held by the applicant while residing in the Hall.
Awards/Prizes received by the applicant, if any.
For the post of Sports, Literary and Cultural Proctors preference is given to those candidates who have prior achievements in the respective field which they have applied for.
For the Post of Editors in the three languages the candidates should have writing and reading skill to effectively perform their duties as Editors.
