SIR ZIAUDDIN HALL
Sir Ziauddin Hall was previously known as the New Hall but in 1982 it had been named as Sir Ziauddin Hall in the Honour of Dr. Sir Ziauddin Ahmed, who was member of Aligarh movement and three terms Vice-Chancellor of the Aligarh Muslim University
The S.Z. Hall is consisting of four residential hostels, namely
1- Mohammad Omar Farooq (MOF) hostel has 42 triple seater rooms
2- Rasheed Ahmed Siddiqui (RAS)
3- Dhyan Chand (DC)
4- Zafar Ahmed Siddiqui (ZAS) hostel has 36 triple seater and 05 single seater rooms
The students of various faculties like Commerce, Science, Life Science and Medicine are residing in this Hall.
Facilities
The Hall is having the Dining Hall, Reading Room, Computer Lab, Career Counselling Cell, Common Room and Canteen. There are recreational facilities as Common Room with Billiard Table, Tennis Table, Chess, and Ludo facilities. The Hall also having Sports Complex with Basket ball, Badminton, Volleyball, Cricket playing ground. The air conditioners are provided in Reading room. The water Coolers with RO/filters are provided at the each floor of Hostels and in Dining Hall for clean drinking water. The Rooms of Students are filled with Net-doors and Net-windows to secure from Mosquitoes. The Parking space for Cycle/Bikes is also available in the Hall. The CCTV Cameras are installed in the Hall, Office & Dining Hall for security reasons. The Mosque is also available in the hall for prayer.
