About the conference:
The Fifth International Conference on Multimedia, Signal Processing and Communication Technologies (IMPACT-2022) shall be Organized by the Department of Electronics Engineering, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh in both modes Online and Offline. The conference may be in fully online mode depending on the guidelines from the authorities.
IMPACT-2022 invites prospective authors to submit their original and unpublished research papers that demonstrate current research in the following tracks (but not limited to). The accepted papers must be presented at the conference by one of the registered authors.
Track 1: Communication and Signal Processing
Track 2: Devices, Circuits and Systems
Track 3: AI/Machine Learning Applications
Track 4: Theme based special session (for details click here)
Manuscript
Submission: The
submitted manuscript should not be under consideration in any other conference,
journal, etc. Each submitted paper should comprise at most five pages, and
comply with the IEEE paper template. If the number of pages exceeds (max 8
pages), the authors from India have to pay Rs. 1000 per page and foreign
authors have to pay USD 50 per page. We recommend using LaTeX for typesetting.
MS Word will also be allowed (LaTeX and M S word template link).
The PDF version of the full paper should be submitted using EasyChair (https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=impact2022). As the review process is double-blind; therefore, before uploading the manuscript for review on EasyChair kindly leave white space at the place of authors' name, affiliation, contact details, etc. The final camera-ready paper will contain full details of the authors in the pdf file.
Review
process:
The review
process will be Double-blind. The submitted manuscript should pass a plagiarism
check as per IEEE norms. The overall similarity rate of a paper should not exceed 30 percent (including the reference list), and the similarity rate to a single source should not exceed 10 percent, as per IEEE guidelines. The manuscripts will be sent to at least two reviewers based on their expertise. The reviewers shall be requested to evaluate the manuscript on the following criteria:
a) The originality of the research
b) Relevance of the topic for the Conference
c) The technical content of the manuscript
d) Methodology used
e) State of the art research
f) English Language clarity
Based on received review reports, the decision of “Acceptance” or “Rejection” will be done by TPC Chair(s), and Conference General Chair(s). Authors of accepted papers have to submit revised papers including all reviewer’s comments and concerns within the given timeframe.
