To develop leadership roles for Sustainable livelihood, Skill procurement, and Outreach Programs.

● To provide knowledge in the area of Food and Nutrition, Human Development, Resource Management, Textiles & Clothing and Extension Programme Planning.

● To master professional skills in areas of employment, entrepreneurship, community welfare and community resource management for economic empowerment of the community in general and students in particular.

• Develop basic knowledge regarding community welfare.

• Develop basic skills for cooking and nutritional knowledge of food ingredients, food preservation, hospital management.

• Develop understanding of household management practices and hands on training.

• Gain better understanding and knowledge about different stages of human development and  their characteristics, early childhood care.

• Develop skills in clothing construction and identification of fiber and fabric properties, production and sales of clothing and textile.

• Attain skills in making of teaching aids and understanding the basics of communication process, Rural Agriculture Work Experiences.
