Ash Mohammad Abbas obtained his Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering in 1994 and Masters of Science in Communication and Information Systems in 1996 both from Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), India. He obtained his Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Delhi in 2006. He spent one year as a Postdoc at Center for Quantifiable Quality of Service (Q2S), Center of Excellence, Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), Norway, under European Research Consortium on Informatics and Mathematics (ERCIM) "Alain Bensoussan" Postdoctoral Fellowship. As part of ERCIM Fellowship, he visited INRIA Sophia Antipolis, France, and CWI Amsterdam, Netherlands. Currently, he is a Professor at Department of Computer Engineering, AMU Aligarh. His current research interests are in the area of Computer Networks (Mobile Ad Hoc Networks, Routing, Quality of Service, Wireless Sensor Networks, Online Social Networks, Internet of Things, Applications of Artificial Intelligence).
