Mohd Yunus Khan have obtained both B.Tech. and M.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering from Zakir Husain College of Engineering and Technology of Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh. He was awarded University medal for standing first in M.Tech. 2005 Examination. Subsequently, he did Ph.D from National Institute of Technical Teachers Training and Research (NITTTR), Chandigarh under AICTE-Quality Improvement Program (QIP) in 2024, in the domain of Advanced Manufacturing under the supervision of Dr. P.S. Rao and Prof. B.S. Pabla. At present, he is working as an Assistant Professor in the Mechanical Engineering Section of the University Polytechnic, AMU. He has taught various subject in Diploma in Engineering, Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) and Bachelor of Vocation (B.Voc).  He has published a number of research papers in journals and conferences. His area of research includes Advanced Manufacturing, Additive Manufacturing, Green Manufacturing etc. He has also reviewed papers for renowned journals. Dr. Khan has developed Alternative Fuels and Combustion Engineering Lab in the University Polytechnic. He has also authored three books.  He is active member of various Engineering societies. He has served at various administrative positions in AMU.
