- Catalyst role in Lifelong Learning ( LLL): The Centre acts as a focal agency in the university system for LLL programmes and provides academic and technical resource and support for community- based activities in collaboration with university departments and colleges.
- Collaborative and Networking Role: Apart from collaboration with university departments and colleges, the Centre networks with governmental, non-governmental agencies and institutional organizations as well as industry.
