The Electronics Engineering Section (EES) at University Women's Polytechnic, A.M.U., was established in the year 1966. Since then it has made significant progress and attained the status of a pioneering section. At present, the section offers a three year Diploma Course in Electronics Engineering. The section aims to produce sound professionals in the field of electronics engineering. The subjects taught cover almost all upcoming areas of significance viz. Analog & Digital Electronics, Microelectronics, Electronic Instrumentation, Electrical Machines and Control Systems, Principles of Communications, Microwave Engineering, Optical Communication, etc. The section has well qualified faculty with well-equipped laboratories and trained staff to supplement the technical needs of courses. The section is soon going to start a three year Diploma course in Communication Technology.
