PEOs & PSOs B.TECH. (FOOD TECHNOLOGY)



PROGRAM EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES

PEO-1 To produce Food Engineers with excellent technical knowledge and leadership skills who can solve real-life problems in food processing industries and address social as well as technical challenges.

PEO-2 To prepare the students for higher studies and research and to inculcate a sense of curiosity in them to facilitate self-learning.

PEO-3 To produce Food engineers who will maintain high level of professional ethics and integrity serve as responsible members of the society.

PEO-4 To produce graduates who can perform effectively both as an individual and as a team in multidisciplinary and diverse professional environment.


PROGRAM SPECIFIC OUTCOMES (PSOs)

PSO-1 Understand the chemical, physical and microbiological makeup of the food.

PSO-2 To be equipped with the fundamentals of food technology and skills required for production line supervision, quality testing and Research and Development in food industries.

PSO-3 Demonstrate necessary knowledge, skills and attitudes required to become an entrepreneur in food processing related business.
