The main educational objectives of this programme are to make the grammar acquainted with the richness and vastness of Sanskrit literature

Texts prescribed in this programme aim at inculcating moral values and ensures the ability to bravely face the day to day challenges of life.

The texts on Indian philosophy help the learners to develop the power of analytical thinking and attain the ultimate goals of life.

After completion of the B.A. (Hons) Programme Students will be able to understand the original texts in Sanskrit.

They will be aware of our rich heritage and culture.

They will be able to acquire proficiency in different branches of Sanskrit literature

They will be eligible to apply for different jobs in various areas such as teaching, administrative services, selected jobs in Indian Army, translating
and news anchoring

Sanskrit Grammar will help them to write and speak Sanskrit  correctly
