3. 24. April 2013 On the occasion of World Immunization Week, a free Hepatitis B Camp was organized by the Department of Tahaffuzi-wa-Samaji-Tib, Ajmal Khan Tibbiya College, Aligarh Muslim University. Dr. Arjun Singh, Chief Medical Officer, Aligarh District, inaugurated the camp.

4. 31-OCT-2013: The Department of Tahaffuzi wa Samaji Tib, Ajmal Khan Tibbiya College, Aligarh Muslim University organized one-day National Workshop on Hepatitis-B. The theme of workshop was "Hepatitis-B: It is closer than you think".

5. 25-JAN-2014: The Department of Tahaffuzi wa Samaji Tib (Preventive and Social Medicine), Faculty of Unani Medicine, Aligarh Muslim University organized a Special Drive for Free Hepatitis-B vaccination for freshers today at OPD No. 8, Ajmal Khan Tibbiya College Hospital.

6. 07-APR-2014: On the eve of World Health Day 2014, the Department of Tahaffuzi wa Samaji Tib, Ajmal Khan Tibbiya College, Aligarh Muslim University organized a Creative Display Competition-cum-Exhibition on Vector Borne Diseases. The exhibition was inaugurated by Prof. Naeem Ahmad Khan, Dean, Faculty of Unani Medicine.

7. Aligarh, July 28: The elimination of viral hepatitis has now been firmly put on world map. To give momentum to this international drive, the Department of 'Tahafuzzi Wa Samaji Tib', Faculty of Unani Medicine, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) has organised "World Hepatitis Day" on the theme, 'Eliminate Hepatitis'.

Prof S M Safdar Ashraf, Chairman, Department of Tahafuzzi wa Samaji Tib, A K Tibbiya College, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) delivered a keynote address on 'Health and Nutritional Status of Residential and Non-Residential Young Adults Staying in the University' at the Global Summit on Food and Nutrition held on July 1 and 2 in Paris.
