This project of CAS Phase -I has now successfully been completed. It
deserves the following as mention.
Academic activities were conducted under this programme. The
department of Urdu A.M.U., Aligarh, has proved its effective professional
potentials of work ability and teamwork spirit during the first phase CAS. We
also conducted a number of national seminars and symposia related to thrust
area further we also planned to edit and published rare Urdu and Persian manuscripts
and significant old texts.
To make teaching more interesting and effective, modern techniques and
aids are essentials. During the period of CAS Phase–I. We have established the
oracy skill language lab, for UG, PG classes and Research Scholars. Inspite
of very limited funds this oracy skill language lab was highly appreciated by
the NAAC Team, subject experts and visitors with the suggestions of its further
development and to make it advance. List of

This is online Urdu Refresher Course for 12 weeks consisting of videos and texts which will also be uploaded to provide in print for teachers. In pursuance of the philosophy that Refresher Courses should focus on personal and professional growth of teachers of Institutions of Higher Learning the current Refresher Course in Urdu is designed to provide the faculty members an exposure about the latest developments in the frontiers of knowledge in the subjects spanning the field of Urdu.
