Prof. Mohammad Farhan Fazli is a distinguished professor of architecture at Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), Aligarh, India. He holds pivotal positions as convener of the Heritage Cell and coordinator of the Centre of Excellence in Islamic Architecture. Renowned for his expertise, Prof. Fazli has also served as a Visiting Research Fellow at the University of Oxford and visited several countries, enhancing his global recognition and scholarly contributions. Prof. Fazli specializes in heritage conservation, urban planning, and environmental sustainability. As an architect, Prof. Fazli has not only designed landmark buildings but also played a key role in the conservation of several eminent heritage structures according to international standards. As an academician, Prof. Fazli has vigorously shaped architectural discourse through his publications, he has published 3 books, 12 book chapters and 21 research papers in esteemed journals. He has played an instrumental role in architectural research by serving in editorial roles at various reputable journals. Prof. Farhan has delivered more than fifty expert talks and made ample presentations at prestigious international and national conferences. Prof. Fazli's dedication to knowledge dissemination is evident through his facilitation of training programs, workshops, and exhibitions that he conducts every year, highlighting his commitment to excellence and innovation in advancing the field of architecture and conserving cultural heritage.
