Dr. Mohammad Farhan Fazli is an Associate Professor in the Department of Architecture at Aligarh Muslim University. He is also the Convener, Heritage Cell of the Campus. He is a Research Assistant at the University of Oxford and a hardcore researcher. Dr. Fazli has published a book on the ‘Arches’ of Aligarh Muslim University and has published a number of research papers in various international journals. He has presented papers in several countries. Dr. Fazli has delivered more than thirty expert talks on heritage buildings and their conservation at national and international platforms. He has also done restoration of Jama Masjid and several other heritage buildings on the campus of Aligarh Muslim University. He is not only involved in the restoration works but has designed several important buildings of the campus. The most recent one is the Centenary Gate, which was recently developed in the commemoration of the hundred years of the University. Dr. Fazli is an alumnus of AMU and the founder of Heritage Cell of the campus, he is trying to restore the legacy of the past and pass it on to future generations.
