I did B.Sc. (Chemistry) and M.Sc. (Biochemistry) from AMU. After completing Ph.D., followed by post-doctoral research work, I joined the Department of Biochemistry, AMU as Lecturer in 1989 and retired in Oct 2022. My research interest was in molecular toxicology. We studied the toxic effects of various xenobiotics (heavy metals, water disinfection by-products, food additives, pesticides etc.) using very basic and simple in vitro and in vivo methods. A few research articles in medium impact factor journals were published.
