Joined as Assistant Professor then Lecturer on September 16, 1978 in the Department. Promoted to Associate Professor then Reader in 1986 and promoted to Professor in March, 1997. Served as Chairman of the Department Business Administration for two terms. Also served as Dean Faculty of Management Studies and Research (FMS&R), Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh for two terms. Served as Dean, Fculty of Business Studies, Stamford University, Dhaka Bangladesh. As a teacher taught more than 20 courses/papers during the last 30 years. Developed interest in the field of Marketing. Specifically, my focus areas of interest are in Basic Marketing, Advertising, Research Methodology, and Consumer Behavior. Written two books and publishes more than 20 research papers both in National and International journals. Some of the names of the journals in which the research articles are published are Indian Management, Marketology Quarterly, Asia Pacific International Journal of Marketing (MCB Press, Australia), Indian Journal of Industrial Relations, Indian Journal of Commerce, Stamford Journal of Business Studies and Singapore Management Review. Also served as Editor Stamford Journal of Business Studies, Stamford University Bangladesh for four years
