Dr. Mohammad Ali has accumulated over seven years of experience across various teaching and research roles. He was a K.A. CARE Postdoctoral Fellow at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, ranked 101st in the QS World University Rankings 2024. Additionally, he served as a Senior Research Fellow under the collaborative project between Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) and the University of New South Wales (UNSW), Canberra, Australia. His research focused on developing innovative power electronic topologies for renewable energy applications and establishing strategies to subside capacitor inrush currents - a significant problem in SCMLIs. He was also invited as a Visiting Researcher at Qatar University, further broadening his international research exposure.
With over three years of teaching experience, Dr. Ali has worked as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at AMU, contributing actively to his department's academic and research activities.
Dr. Ali has authored over 50 research papers in international journals, book chapters, and conferences, including many IEEE Transactions/Journals articles. He is also an inventor of 5 patents granted/published by the USA and India patent offices. He is a Senior Member of IEEE and a Life Member of the System Society of India.
