I did my MBBS and DOMS from Jawaharalal Nehru Medical College, AMU. Then I moved to New Delhi and did my Secondary DNB from Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi. I further continued there from one more year as a Senior Resident (SR). During my time there, I developed a keen interest in Vitreoretina and Uvea, and developed my skills in this subspeciality, under my teachers there, especially my Thesis Guide Dr. S. N. Jha. I then moved to Jamia Hamdard and worked as an SR for 1.5 years. Finally I returned back to my alma mater, JNMCH in the Deptt. Of Ophthalmology as an Assistant Professor, thus completing my own circle of life, only this time I am on the other side of the aisle.
