Dr. Sameena is  Professor in the department of Sociology, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh. She obtained her M.Phil and Ph.D Degree from Aligarh Muslim University. She has been teaching courses on Sociology of Education, Social Psychology, Social Gerontology and Indian Social Institutions to UG and PG students. Her main areas of interest are Women's studies , Social Gerontology and Sociology of Education. She has presented several papers in National and International Seminars and Conferences and contributed chapters in edited books and Research papers in  International Journals.
