I was appointed as Lecturer in the Department of Urdu, AMU, Aligarh in the year 1997. - I have so far published two books entitled "Siyah-o-Safed" (Collection of literary articles) in 2010 and â??Prem Chand Ke Afsane (Haqiqat Nigari aur Dehi Zindagi ke Masail)" in 1999. Also edited two books entitled KASHIF-UL-HAQUAIEQU by Syed Imdad Imam Asar publishd from Brown book publications pvt.ltd New Delhi in 2015 and "Sair-e-Jahan" by Shahryae (translated in Hindi) published from Vani Parkashan, New Delhi in 2001. I have guided 7 Ph.D. and M.Phil Theses and have 6 under progress Ph.D. works. I have written 33 articles which were published in reputed journals like Quarterly 'Imroz' Aaaj Kal, Fik-o-Nazar, Sher-o-Hikmat, Arts Faculty journal, Khuda Bakhsh Library Journal, Tahzeebul Akhlaq etc. I have also presented almost 36 papers in different International & National Seminars. My area of interest has been fiction criticism and in writing critical articles.
