In last more than thirty-two years of my teaching experience as University teacher, I have been constantly pursuing basic research on poets and scholars of both Urdu and Persian, as â??researchâ?? is my area of interest. I have discovered, edited and published several classical and almost forgotten text of importance for history of Urdu literature. The number of my books published, so far are twelve. I have been teaching Research Methodology and Classical Text (Both Prose and Poetry) from my early years of service (1979) in the University. The number of published papers are about one hundred four which have been published in reputed Urdu Journals of India and Pakistan, which includes: 1. Nuqoosh (Lahore), 2.Iqbaliyat (Lahore), 3.Tahqeeq (Jamshoro, Pakistan), 4.Maâ??arif (Azamgarh), 5.Urdu Adab (New Delhi), 6.Tahqeeq (New Delhi), 7.Naya Daur (Lucknow), 8.Firk-o-Nazar (Aligarh), 9.Ghalib Nama (New Delhi), 10.Jamia (New Delhi).
