Report on World Diabetes Day Program – 14 November 2025

Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Diabetes and Endocrinology (RGCDE), J.N. Medical College Hospital, AMU, celebrated World Diabetes Day on 14 November 2025 with great enthusiasm. The Principal, J.N. Medical College, and the Dean, Faculty of Medicine, graced the occasion with their presence and encouraged the participants. During the program, glucometers were distributed to Type 1 diabetes patients to support better self-monitoring and diabetes management. A comprehensive awareness session on diabetes was organized, focusing on prevention, early diagnosis, and lifestyle modification. The Director, RGCDE, addressed the gathering and highlighted important aspects of diabetes, including potential complications and preventive measures, emphasizing the need for regular follow-up and patient education.
