 Medical Reimbursement for Pensioners / Family pensioners

 

1.       As per office memo D.NO.875/Gen, dated 19.01.2009 the Vice Chancellor had approved MAS benefits to the Pensioner/Family Pensioners including referral facilities outside JNMCH.

2.       In its meeting held on 27.03.2010 the sub-committee of MAS recommended that the facility of treatment taken by the Pensioners / Family Pensioners outside JNMCH to be put on hold.

3.       In O.M. vide D.NO.135/Gen, dated 26.05.2012, the Vice-Chancellor had approved that the pensioners will be allowed to avail reimbursement facilities of treatment taken by them at JNMCH / AK Tibbiya College and at MAS in Aligarh only.

4.       In O.M.vide/D.NO.108/Gen dated 29.05.2014, on the recommendation of the subcommittee of MAS, the competent authority had approved, that the MAS facilities will be  provided for the outside   treatment / referral to the Pensioners / Family Pensioners w.e.f. March, 2014 and it would be only for husband and wife and will include any handicapped dependent as per CGHS Rules for a period of one year and will be reviewed after assessment of financial implications.

5.       Vide O.M. D.No. 601 / Gen, dated 08.04.2015, the Competent authority has approved an extension in the provision of MAS facilities for outside treatment / referral treatment to the retired Personnel (self, wife and handicapped children, if any ) for a further period of one year beginning from 01.04.2015.
