Helical and  Spiral Coil.

MECHANICAL OPERATIONS LAB:

Various experimental facilities are available for the study of different fluid particle operations including size reduction,  conveying of solid. This lab houses Closed Circuit Grinding Mill , ball mill, jaw crusher, pulveriser, plate and frame,Rotary drum vacuum and Leaf filter press, gravity thickening, sedimentation Tank

HEAT TRANSFER LAB

The Heat Transfer lab provide practical training to the students on different heating and cooling systems of  various configuration e.g. Shell and Tube, Double pipe heat exchangers and evaporative systems  boiling, condensation and natural

convective systems etc.

MASS TRANSFER LAB:

The Mass Transfer Lab provides training to the students on different aspect of mass transfer phenomena such as Batch and Rotary drying ,S-L, and L-L extraction Binary and differential distillation Solid Dissolution  , Cooling Tower  etc

REACTION ENGINEERING and THERMODYNAMICS LAB:

This lab provides practical training on several reaction engineering equipment which include RTD studies in a single CSTR, a series of CSTRs, and Tubular reactor; kinetics of fluid solid reaction, Plug flow reactor and Batch reactor

COMPUTER APPLICATION  LAB

The Department has well maintained Computer Lab with Desktops and high speed server and workstation. The lab is equipped with following important Design/Simulation software.
