Department of Fine Arts

A PhD Scholar of Fine Arts is expected to achieve the following programme outcomes:

Ability to develop inquiring aptitude to address art historical concerns.

Ability to apply critical investigation in analysing subjects related to art history and criticism.

Ability to identify the indigenous art forms and the ability to develop contextual research methods for critical investigation.

Ability to identify the significance and scope of academic engagement and archiving of indigenous and endangered art traditions.

Ability to develop research projects that are rooted in local contexts and have global relevance.
