The department of Oto-rhino-laryngology (E.N.T.) was created in 1981. The department remained situated in the main building of the college, adjacent to department of Surgery for about 31 years. The department has been shifted to the newly constructed building in March 2012. The department has six teaching positions of faculty members of which two Professors and three (03) Assistant Professors are currently working. The Otorhinolaryngology (E.N.T.) is a full-fledged subject at M.B.B.S. Final Professional Part I. The department is successfully running Postgraduate M.S. course recognized by the Medical Council of India. The intake of M.S. students is (06) Six per academic session. The department is also assisted by four Senior Residents. The daily average attendance of ENT OPD is 250-300 patients with 40 bedded wards.

The department has two well equipped state of the art operation theatre. All the routine and advanced E.N.T. surgical procedures are performed in the Operation Theatre. One national workshop on Otology and three State level conferences of Association of otolaryngologists of India (UP Chapter) and many workshops and Symposium have been organized to benefit the postgraduate students and upcoming ENT surgeons.
