Prof. Shamim Ahmad did graduation with Economics Honours, then M.B.A. and subsequently Ph.D. all from Aligarh Muslim University. He also did Bachelors and Masters Courses in Export-Import Management from Xavier Institute of Management, Kolkata. Prof. Ahmad specializes in the areas of Agribusiness Management, ICT Application, Islamic Management & Financing, Business Research, Global and Agricultural Marketing & Policy Issues. He has research and teaching experience of over 40 years and has guided research to several students out of which 19 have been awarded Ph. D. degrees. Prof. Ahmad has authored a no. of books, monographs and research papers which are published in India and abroad. He has also been presenting papers and chairing technical sessions in various international conferences and seminars. He also possesses administrative experience and has worked as Chairman of the department and Dean of the faculty for several rounds. He has also represented in all the important governing bodies of the Aligarh Muslim University.
