Dr. Parveen is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Commerce at Aligarh Muslim University and holds the position of Assistant Training and Placement Officer (General). Her journey in the field of Human Resource Management has been shaped by a strong foundation in academic excellence and impactful professional engagement. She has successfully completed her Post Doctorate (UGC), contributing valuable insights to the field of HRM through her research and scholarly activities.
Appointed as Assistant Training and Placement Officer (General) Dr. Parveen has played a key role in shaping the career trajectories of AMU students. Her primary responsibilities include student placements, career counselling, orientation programs, training sessions, corporate meets, job fairs, and efficient office management—all aimed at bridging the gap between academia and industry.
Dr. Parveen has frequently been invited as a Resource Person for sessions on Interview Skills, where she guides students and young professionals on how to effectively present themselves during job interviews. Her sessions focus on key aspects such as resume building, body language, communication techniques, answering common interview questions, and handling stress during interviews. With her extensive experience in training and placement, she offers practical insights and personalized tips that help participants build confidence and improve their chances of success in competitive job markets. Her workshops are known for being interactive, informative, and highly impactful.
Dr. Parveen’s commitment to advancing knowledge is evident through her extensive publication record in esteemed Scopus-indexed journals and her active participation in both national and international conferences. Her research work is characterized by rigorous qualitative and quantitative analysis, reflecting a strong foundation in empirical inquiry and academic scholarship.
In addition to her academic pursuits, Dr. Parveen has undertaken significant administrative responsibilities. She has served as Organizing Secretary, Session Chair, Coordinator, Co-coordinator, and Joint Organizing Secretary for a wide range of international and national conferences, workshops, job fairs, and seminars. She has been instrumental in organizing industry-academia interface events, aimed at bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application.
Her dedication to student welfare is further exemplified by her role as a Resident Warden at AMU, where she has contributed to creating a supportive and secure environment for students. Dr. Parveen was invited as a Resource Person in a Workshop on ‘Stress Management in the Post Pandemic World’, and delivered a Keynote Address at The 2nd International Conference on Business and Banking organized by the Faculty of Economics and Business, Islamic State of Mataram University, Indonesia. She also served as the Chief Guest for the International Women’s Day 2025 Celebration organized by IMCS Group, where she addressed young girls from Udayan Care (NGO) on themes such as career building, women empowerment, self-belief, and leadership.
Furthermore, Dr. Parveen was the Session Chair at the 4th International Conference on Technological Advancements in Computational Sciences (ICTACS 2024) organized by Amity University, Tashkent, Uzbekistan, where she contributed to discussions on bridging the industry-academia gap through emerging disruptive technologies. She also delivered a Keynote Talk at the G20 Career Counselling Session organized in collaboration with Saiyyid Hamid Senior Secondary School (Boys), AMU, and served as the Co-convener of the Cyber Security Awareness Programme organized by the National Service Scheme (NSS), AMU.
With her in-depth subject knowledge, impactful research contributions, administrative expertise, and global engagement, Dr. Parveen stands out as a dynamic and valuable asset to any academic or professional institution.
