Mr. Shahid Masood is currently working as Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science, A.M.U., Aligarh. He joined the Department of Computer Science in the year 1996 as Lecturer. He has got around 20 years experience of teaching at the PG and UG level. Prior to this, He has also worked as Systems Analyst Gr.II and T.A.(Computer) /Programming Assistant in the Computer Cell for Admissions & Examinations, Office of the Controller (Admissions & Examinations.), A.M.U., Aligarh, Electrical Engineering Department A.M.U., Aligarh and Data Base Management Unit, A.M.U., Aligarh for around 13 years. During this period he developed software packages for processing the data of University Admissions (Test and Non-test courses), Examinations, Students Information System, Employees C.G.I.S. etc. He has done his B.Sc. (Hons.) in Physics in 1981, D.C.P. in 1983 and M.C.A. in 1994 from A.M.U., Aligarh. He has guided around 113 dissertations at PG level and around 47 at UG level. His area of interests include data structures, computer programming and information technology. He was also entrusted with the responsibility to serve as Assistant Coordinator, Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), AMU Study Centre for more than three years.
