Mohammad Zaid received M.Tech. in Electrical Engineering (Power system and Drives) from Aligarh Muslim University in year 2015 and B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering from Aligarh Muslim University in year 2013. He is presently pursuing his Ph.D. in the area of Multilevel Inverter.
His research areas of interest are High gain DC-DC converters, Multilevel Inverter, Maximum power point tracking and Power Quality. He has published/presented more than 50 papers (https://scholar.google.com/citations?user=kYx-q9wAAAAJ&hl=en) in various peer reviewed International conferences and SCI Journals including IEEE, IET, Taylor and Francis, Wiley(UK). He has won best paper awards in several IEEE- International Conferences. Mr. Mohammad Zaid has already guided 08 M.Tech thesis, and 08 undergraduate projects
He has taught courses on Renewable energy systems, Power system protection, Signals and Systems, Electrical Machines and Power Quality to undergraduate and postgraduate students. He is a member of IEEE and is currently the branch counsellor of IEEE- Student Branch of AMU. He has worked as Assistant Director of Residential Coaching academy (RCA) of AMU, Aligarh.
Before Joining AMU he was Selected as Executive Engineer , Power Grid Corporation of India (PGCIL) a Navratna PSU.- Publications
