Safia Akhtar Kazmi is Associate professor in Electrical Engineering Department ZHCET , She has completed her Ph.D. (Electrical engineering) in 2016 from AMU, Aligarh, She has been in teaching profession since 1999, She Joined Department in July 2001.

Working as Coordinator Centre of Integrated Green and Renewable Energy AMU Aligarh from  9 July 2024.

Published papers in SCI Journals and published PATENT in 2020.  She is taking lectures, practical and research works of UG and PG students. In addition to this she has supervised 30   M. Tech Dissertations and several B.Tech Projects; apart from academic responsibilities she has also performed duties of Time Table and Tabulation; Assistant superintendent (Examinations), Departmental coordinator for B.E. courses, Verification officer in Admissions, Program officer NSS, Treasurer of Systems Society of India Aligarh Chapter, and as first nonresident warden in Bibi Fatima Hall and Warden in IG hall for three years.  She is member of Academic bodies like; Instrument Society of India, Systems Society of India and IEEE, USA. Faculty advisor,  IEEE Women in Engineering, Aligarh.  She has presented papers in International conferences including  RYERSON UNIVERSITY , TORONTO , CANADA. In May 2012. She has received best paper presentation Award in paper presentation in National Conference Jamia Millia Islamia 2003.Received certificate of recognition from international society of Muslim women in Science (USA) in 2014.Part of NBA Accreditation for B.Tech (Electrical Engineering), M.tech  (Power systems and Drives, High voltage and Insulation Engineering) Presently She is Coordinator NBA, M.Tech (Instrumentation and Control).
