Dr. Taufique is presently working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Geography, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh. He completed all his studies including Ph. D. in Geography from Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh. He qualified UGC SLET in Geography. Besides, he has also completed a training course on Remote Sensing and GIS Application in Cartography & Mapping in 2012 from Indian Institute of Remote Sensing (IIRS), Department of Space, Government of India, Dehradun. He has been engaged in teaching various courses of Geography i.e., Geomorphology, Climatology & Oceanography, Resource Geography, Agricultural Geography etc. His research interest in the areas of Agricultural Geography, Population Geography and Applied Geography. He has published two books and 46 Research Papers in edited books and reputed national and international journals. Besides these he has read severalresearch papers in various national and international Conferences / Seminars.
