Sana Fatima’s research group primarily works on Katha Sahitya at the Department of Hindi, Aligarh Muslim University. Kavya Shastra (Poetics) and Madhya Kaleen Kavita are also her areas of research interest. She has received her Ph.D. degree from the Aligarh Muslim University in 2019. Her doctoral thesis was focused on “Krishna Sobti Ke Katha Sahitya Mein Stree Asmita”. She has published several articles/abstracts in reputed journals and conferences. She has delivered several talks at national and international conferences/seminars. She is the recipient of the prestigious Maulana Azad National Fellowship, UGC, New Delhi. She has also received Post Graduate Merit Scholarship during her master's studies. She has the honor of qualifying UGC-NET exam many times. She has been awarded Gold Medal by Aligarh Muslim University for her outstanding performance (topper) in master’s degree. She has been teaching Kavya Shastra, Retikaleen Kavita, Bhaktikaleen Kavita, Upanyaas Sahitya, Kahani Sahitya, Kathetar Gadhya Vidhaaein and Nibandh Sahitya at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. She is actively involved in different committees working on the promotion and awareness of Hindi Sahitya among undergraduate and postgraduate students.
