Dr. Nazish Siddiqui is currently working as Associate Professor in the Department of Ilmul Advia, Faculty of Unani Medicine, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh, India. She has 22 years of teaching and research experience. Before joining this Department, she served Women's college, AMU as lecturer and guest faculty from 2004-2008 also.  Dr. Nazish completed her B.Sc., M. Sc. and Ph.D. in Chemistry from A.M.U., Aligarh. She has qualified NET (conducted by UGC-CSIR) in chemistry in 1999 and 2000, received three gold medals for securing first position in B. Sc., M. Sc. (chemistry) and first position in overall faculty of science and life science in M. Sc. She did B. Ed. and M. Ed. from AMU and qualified NET in education also. Dr. Siddiqui has guided one Ph.D. (chemistry) and 12M.D. (Ilmul advia) students (05 as supervisor+07 as co-supervisor) and presently 02 M.D. students are working under her supervision. She has published more than 50 research papers in the journals of National and International repute like Discover Chemistry (Springer), Integrative Medicine Discovery, J of Taibah Univ Med Sc (Elsevier), Sustainability, Agriculture, Food and Environmental Research, Steroids (Elsevier), J of Saudi Chemical Soc (Elsevier), J of Molecular Structure(Elsevier), J of Crystal Growth (Elsevier), Tetrahedron Letters (Elsevier), Annals. Food Science and Technology, Chinese Journal of Chemistry, etc. She has contributed many articles to national/international conferences, seminars and symposiums; delivered many invited lectures and evaluated many academic and cultural events as judge. Her research interest includes Organic chemistry, Standardization & Quality Control of Unani Drugs, In-vitro studies of Unani Drugs, Spectrophotometry.
