Professor (Dr.) Anees Ahmad is working as Professor of Industrial Chemistry in Department of Chemistry of Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh. He has also worked in Environmental Technology Division of School of Industrial Technology, USM, Malaysia (2005-2011). He has completed all his education at AMU, India and joined AMU (Analytical Division of Chemistry Department) as Lecturer in 1987 and promoted to Associate Professor in 1998. He has taught many courses of Chemistry in general and Analytical Chemistry, Environmental Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry and Computer Programming in particular both at UG and PG level. His research interest is in the areas of Nano Technology, Microbeal Fuel Cells, Supercritical CO2 Extraction, Environmental Pollution Management & Treatment Technologies, Bio-Resource Management, Adsorption, Ion Exchange, Instrumental Methods of Analysis, Development of Low-cost Analytical Instruments, Computer Simulation and Modeling. He has supervised 15 PhDs, 3 M. Phil and 12 M.Sc. / M. Tech. students. He has published about 155 papers in the journals of international repute and presented his research work in many national and international conferences. He has published 2 books:
